Fostering Together

Meet the Long/Walker family. They signed up to receive emails of current, real-time needs in their community through an online platform called CarePortal. They provided three beds, sheets, blankets, and pillows to a struggling single mom in Lawrenceville. Jennifer and her sons helped the mom assemble the beds. Those children are sleeping in warm beds every night because of the compassion and generosity of a Gwinnett Church family. Many times, meeting these tangible needs prevents a child from entering foster care.

CarePortal is an easy tool that connects the church with families in crisis. So far, 99 children have felt the love of Gwinnett Church in tangible ways from families who were willing to receive and respond to a CarePortal email.

You can meet current needs and be #ForGwinnettFamilies with CarePortal too!
