Frequency 2018!

Frequency 2018 was a huge success! We packed 364 middle school students and 177 small group leaders in 9 buses and headed to FFA Camp in Covington, Georgia for a fun and life-changing weekend. Students sang songs, danced their hearts out, rode a mechanical bull, and competed in the Olympic trials. They also heard powerful messages throughout the weekend and engaged in deep conversations with their small group. We talked about the heavy burden sin creates and how shame causes us to hide from God and others. We helped our students understand that they can find total freedom in Jesus and strength in each other. During small group on Saturday morning, every student at camp wrote their shame on a red sticker which represented the bricks they were carrying. That night they took their shame to the cross and traded it in for the freedom found in Christ. We celebrated by worshipping God under the stars. It was an amazing moment seeing the next generation discover a faith of their own!
